Green Health Spa : Volunteer : Spiritual
We want to add a little bit of meaningful stuff here. Visiting South East Asia and maybe choosing to experience some volunteer teaching either for your entire trip or to see this other side of being in Asia, is a very uplifting and heart warming experience. We have found it to be very healing for the emotions. That is just a personal opinion, but most do seem to find it to be so.
We, visitors all, come here without expectations of grandeur or typical tourism. But once here, the laid back lifestyle and the many unexpected facilities come as an added bonus. The town is 'quietly busy' with old style European alleys and an abundance of really nice cafes. It is also very pretty.
It can be very healing too.
There may be so many reasons why one may be looking for a different type of holiday that enriches the sense of well being, has purpose, or provides some kind of inner fulfillment that just isn't there in the 'real world'. Meeting that need is what we really aim for.
Many people are now feeling the conflicts or experiencing the break-ups that are occuring more dramatically in families or workplaces as a result of what is called the 'Dividing of the Ways' evident at this time.
There is quite a strong division now between those who see a deeper reality and who think more wholistically, and those who are more self-centered and unaware of deeper connections with life and with others. Those ones may be oblivious to a greater reality, and ignorant. They may have no concept whatsoever of the connectedness with others or the planet, and frequently respond only from the ego. This spells trouble, not only for a world which runs on this ego state, but for the many souls who do not.
It means that in these times, there may be many who want to communicate from the heart, to be listened to, to seek a partner, family support, or to find others who are awake and able to behave in a way that many in this world are not doing.
Some may have been through traumas, whether emotional or physical or both, or abuse, bullying, family violence, rape, grief and so on. You know it is actually true when it is said that if something bad happens to you many friends and family turn away. They do!
You know what else is true? It may be that people will understand if you have cancer or are elderly, but heaven help you if you have been through an experience, or injury that has caused trauma. Trauma is the least understood condition and so hard to deal with! The person experiencing trauma can be labeled a diva, having a temper tantrum, nasty, or crazy and ends up with more trauma. For such a one the only way to heal is often breaking ties with everyone and everything.
We know because we went through some of this ourselves, and that is how we ended up in Asia. It is also how we found how healing this lifestyle can be. And as trained counselors including in psychotherpy, and spiritual psychology, and 'Biogenic Living', we also understand the 'inner need' for something fulfilling and meaningful. Spiritually there is another reason why such dissolution of one's reality can take place, and that is because of the 'Dividing of the Ways'. It paves the way for something completely new to replace the old.................
A Unique Way to 'Feel Good'
This is something different.
We now have some 'feel good travel' experiences to offer you that can include volunteer teaching English with a commitment for that as the purpose of your stay, or as a partial experience [just let us know]. Our feel good visits offer these experiences along with someone to talk to about your own 'stuff' or maybe talk about health and spirituality, plus the magic of seeing the ancient holy city of Angkor Wat, and a spiritual and wholistic approach to a visit here.
Siem Reap is a small town near the ancient jungle holy city of Angkor Wat. It is a wonderful treasure of a place to discover. Indonesia is another wonderful place to find. I came here in 2009 after dealing with two horrible categories of experience of my own. One aspect was an injury which meant my life changed forever - as well as it being something that was trivialized and dismissed as nothing, and responded to as if I was commiting a terrible crime to mention it!
Secondly, were circumstantial issues including losing my home from a bushfire, then floods. On top of this I realized I was in the experience of 'family violence' and had been for many years. Seems strange to think it took so long to realize, but for so long we tend to think it is a communication breakdown that is perhaps our own fault.
Thats some of the meaningful stuff I wanted to add here. Eventually I chose to 'get away' and found myself attracted to right here in Asia and Indonesia, and of all the unexpected miracles I simply fell in love with it.
I hope you will too!
Life is absolutely great!
